Wisconcin Man Says Packers Loyalty Saved His Life

A Wisconsin man who says his Green Bay Packers loyalties helped save his life has been voted into the team's Fan Hall of Fame. The team announced the honor Saturday for 79-year-old Jim Becker. He attended Packers games for 56 years. Becker says his passion for his team helped save his life. He and his wife raised 11 kids, so money was tight. To afford his season tickets without taking money from his family, he began selling his blood for $15 per pint. Related posts:

New York may be crumbling, but a German artist is doing his part to put it all back together.

Jan Vormann and his assistants have been filling cracks, gaps and broken bricks with Lego blocks. Yup -- turns out structural repairs are just child's play.

New York is actually the 10th city to undergo the unusual repair work. My AOL colleague Dana Chivvis writes that the project actually started in 2007 in Bocchignano, Italy, then spread around the world to places like Tel Aviv, St. Petersburg and Quito.

I wouldn't mind if Vorman paid a visit to my block. There's some exposed brick in my place that could use some reinforcement -- and a bunch of five year olds with two much time on their hands. (Weird Art)
